My childhood was fairly active, but I never got into proper resistance training until I got a first taste of lifting weights in High school. I was immediately enthralled by the idea of getting stronger and soon this evolved into a whole new lifestyle, the Lumo Fitness lifestyle.
In 2017, I broadened my horizons with a leap of faith and moved from Finland to United States. Since then, I have grown both as a person as a coach – on top of becoming a first-time mom. Each of these major life events has been an adventure, like climbing a mountain, with some trails that go up, some that go down, and a few gorgeous views!
The training methodologies used in my fitness sessions are based on proven scientific research and practical experience as a trainer and a coach. Each client is individually assessed and training programs are customized based on your goals and needs.

Most importantly, we discuss the reasoning about why I made these specific recommendations for you (if you have questions, ask away!). I work with you to set and achieve clear, realistic goals and together we work to achieve them. Achieving results becomes a lot easier than just “working out”. These goals could be as small as losing 5 pounds of bodyfat or being able to do a single push-up - all the way to attending a strength or fitness competition. Whilst it’s important to have goals to work towards, I want my YOU to FALL IN LOVE with the process of bettering yourself and your health.
Everyone, regardless of age, gender or physical limitations has the right to become the best version of themselves. I want to help people build sustainable and healthy habits that fit their lifestyle. Physical activity and exercise can and should be an enjoyable part of everyone`s daily life.
